This role is expected to act as an Architect for ServiceNow engagements by proposing, architecting and leading ServiceNow solution delivery based on the requirements provided by the Slalom team and the Client. The solutions should be holistic in nature and include repeatable designs for productivity. In addition to domain expertise, they should be comfortable interacting outside of the IT department with the business. They should have a high degree of business proficiency, professional maturity, and poise. Critical thinking and working in unfamiliar sectors will be required.
What You'll Do Led ServiceNow implementation workshops to deliver technical stories/requirements and design. Minimum 7 years of ServiceNow design and development experience. Experience in developing ServiceNow solutions and technical design documents from business requirements. Define, guide, and support execution of technical skills Develop standards and practices for maintaining ServiceNow architecture model Assist in development of standards and practices for maintaining health of the platform Supports the design and implementation of the platform operating model to achieve the client desired outcomes Provide technical evaluation of ServiceNow platform architecture, platform capabilities, best practices and standard operatiation procedures What You'll Bring
10+ years of broad experience across a broad IT operational spectrum 5+ years of ServiceNow specific experience ITIL or IT4IT framework and design exposure Operational run history/experience: platform lifecycle management: upgrades, patches, etc., general implementation and configuration of the ServiceNow platform, Platform and app integration practices Experience implementing specific ServiceNow Product suites (HR, CSM, GRC, ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, etc.) Experience with leveraging the ServiceNow platform to automate common requests, development of a service catalog and corresponding CMDB structure (CSDM). Integration with cloud ecosystems (Active Directory, SCCM, Workday, SaaS applications, etc.) Understanding of common ServiceNow dev platforms and methods: e.g., JavaScript, Angular, Angular JS, PowerShell, MySQL, CSS, Web Services (REST/SOAP, XML, and HTML) General knowledge of network infrastructure: networks, protocols, email (SMTP, POP3) Programming expertise in ServiceNow. Demonstrated understanding of demand & project management processes. Responsible for delivering industry and ServiceNow best practices around SPM, with strong client management experience. Excellent communication skills Ability to work successfully across both business and technical stakeholders to drive design and decisions on requirements Experience leading solution and design across case management, knowledge management, portals, document management, and reporting Experience as a relationship manager and stakeholder management Experience contributing to the development of delivery tools and resources, thought leadership, and client offerings through personal experience and perspective Ability to provide hands-on leadership and project management to ensure deadlines are met and key deliverables are always accurate Certified in system administration & application development (CSA, CAD). CIS - PPM certification is a plus. Experience with agile methodologies

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position at the Principal level the base salary pay range is $140,000 to $258,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
