Job Summary (basic description)
The Workday HCM Integrations Specialist role requires a high level of expertise in Workday integrations, security, and reporting. Working closely with the Senior HRIS Manager, the specialist will capture and document customer requirements into detailed interface specifications, ensuring thorough testing and seamless delivery. Collaboration with HR, Finance, and IT leadership is crucial for swiftly addressing technical challenges, identifying root causes, and implementing robust solutions to enhance system stability and reliability.
Essential Functions
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of robust integration solutions connecting Workday HCM with other platforms.Oversee the creation and management of user roles and security groups within Workday.Collaborate with stakeholders in HR and other cross-functional teams such as Finance and IT to understand business requirements and translate user needs into clear technical requirements.Coordinate the delivery of new integrations, security permission updates, and improvements needed to existing solutions.Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration designs and processes from planning to launch.Analyze and evaluate existing security access controls, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending improvements.Provide guidance and support to end-users on integration and security access-related inquiries.Support semi-annual upgrade testing in Workday.Required Qualifications:
Demonstrative proficiency in utilizing Workday tools such as Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, Extend, PRISM Analytics, BIRT, etc.Experience building integrations connecting Active Directory, Aderant, ADP, Benefit Providers, ServiceNow and/or Snowflake is highly desirable.Knowledge and experience with integration tools and concepts beyond Workday is a plus.Experience defining and documenting high-level business requirements and process flows across multiple systems.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to devise creative solutions.Ability to define business challenges and communicate required technical and business changes.Proven ability in stakeholder management through collaborative project work.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects independently from start to finish with shifting priorities.Educational Requirements
3 or more years of hands-on experience with Workday Integrations, Security and reporting in a post-production environment.Knowledge of Workday Peakon a plus.Workday Pro Certification in Integrations, Security, or Reporting is a plus.Additional experience in configuring other Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Benefits) is highly desirable.Law firm experience is a plus.
For Westchester County, the expected salary range for this position is between $105-$135k. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
