Internal Audit Lead (Internal Controls/Audit Risks)
to support the US Army!
Location: Remote (candidates may need to travel into the office in Northern VA area 1/quarter)Employment Type: Full-timeSalary: $65k - $130k, depending on labor category level
In this position, you will support the Environmental & Disposal Liability AAT. An AAT is a cross-functional team that quickly and continually assesses a situation, develops plans, and aligns resources to take effective action as quickly as possible and achieve the outcome. Uniting personnel, resources, and information in one physical or virtual location achieves more faster than the individual elements would accomplish separately.
Qualified Candidates must:Ability to perform risks assessment and identify internal controlsKnowledge of federal accounting standards (i.e. FASAB) and GAAPExperience designing and implementing corrective actions to address audit risksRequirements - Level 1:
Secret Clearance (Required)4 years of Federal experience AND2 years of Federal Accounting experience ANDMaster's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management ORBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management AND CPA or CISA or PMP or CGFM or CDFMMust be a U.S. CitizenRequirements - Level 2:
Secret Clearance (Required)6 years of Federal experience AND4 years of Federal Accounting experience ANDMaster's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management ORBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management AND CPA or CISA or PMP or CGFM or CDFMMust be a U.S. CitizenRequired skills:
Experience with identification of audit risks and internal controls; develop of risk and control matrices (RACMs)Knowledge of federal accounting standards (i.e. FASAB) and GAAPExperience designing and implementing corrective actions to address audit risksExperience with end-to-end process mappingPreferred Skills (not required):
