High School Diploma or GED18 months verifiable interstate tractor trailer commercial driving experience within the last 3 yearsNo more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years and no more than 3 within the past 7 yearsNo Reckless driving; including but not limited to speeding 15 or more MPH and/or leaving the scene of an accident in the past 3 yearsNo at-fault DOT recordable accidents in the past 3 yearsNo Driving Under the Influence, DUI violations within the past 7 yearsValid Class A CDL requiredESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate a sleeper trailer and 53' trailerOperates tractor/trailer in accordance with Company Policies, DOT Guidelines, and traffic laws.Conducts and documents pre- and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer.Ensure Cargo is secured correctlyMakes product deliveries according to proper route and schedule as indicated on the manifest.Ensure product accuracy and quality and visually inspecting product as it is unloaded from the trailerObtains customer signatures on proof of delivery and submits to the dispatcher as required.Clean and sweep truck and trailer as needed.Operate and maintain a Mobile Electronic Onboard Recording deviceReport truck, trailer, equipment, and material problems and/or damage, accidents, and traffic violations promptly to Fleet SupervisorMaintains a clean and professional appearanceAttends departmental staff and safety meetingsOccasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hearSHARE THIS OPPORTUNITY
