This role involves supporting daily office operations through tasks such as data entry, filing, scheduling meetings, and handling reception duties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, intermediate Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a busy environment. This position requires effective communication and customer service, as you will be interacting closely with patients, nurses, physicians, and staff throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:Perform general clerical duties, including filing, data entry, scheduling meetings, and preparing correspondence.Operate office equipment, including fax machines, computers, and photocopiers.Liaise with nursing and medical staff to coordinate patient interactions and office activities.Maintain a professional and friendly approach in all patient and staff interactions.Ensure accurate data entry with a typing speed of 50 keystrokes per minute.Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in a clerical or administrative role; prior experience in a medical office and knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.Education:
High School Diploma or GED.Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate level), excellent verbal and written communication, and strong customer service skills.Languages:
English and Spanish proficiency required (Speak, Read, Write).Schedule:
