As a Senior Auditor, you will lead and manage audit, review, and compilation engagements, working independently and with teams to meet client and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Engagement Management:
Lead and execute audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with professional standards and timely delivery.Client Communication:
Build and maintain relationships with clients, proactively sharing engagement updates, accomplishments, and addressing inquiries or issues.Deadline Management:
Effectively manage multiple engagements, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing tasks to ensure high-quality work.Industry Awareness:
Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to deliver relevant insights and recommendations.Technical Expertise:
Apply strong technical skills to identify and resolve audit issues, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all deliverables.Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare detailed workpapers, financial statements, and audit reports that communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly and accurately.Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting (Required)Certification:
CPA designation (Preferred) or actively pursuingExperience:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant external audit experience in a public accounting firm.Skills:Strong technical auditing skills and familiarity with GAAP and GAAS standards.Excellent analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
