This position requires availability for scheduling on 2 out of 3 holidays. All requests must be approved before signing. The role includes an auto offer with patient ratios set at 1:3. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in Hematology/Oncology, with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings being acceptable.
First-time applicants are welcome. The schedule includes working every other weekend and holiday. Certifications in APHON, BLS, and PALS are required. The role involves floating to Pediatrics, Adolescent, and PICU Stepdown units. Block scheduling is not available, and local candidates are accepted.
The patient mix includes all types of childhood cancers and sickle cell patients. Required skills include proficiency in EPIC, PEWs, phlebotomy (A-lines/Central lines/PICCs), administering and monitoring chemotherapy, and wound care.
