Summary/Objective:
As a member of our warehouse team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of materials to our customers' job sites and locations. Your dedication to driving responsibly and with precision will not only contribute to operational excellence but also create exceptional customer experiences with every delivery. Essential Functions:
Loads van for deliveries ensuring the material is correct and secure.Creates shipping Manifests for all deliveries.Records mileage, expenses encountered, and documents pre and post trip inspections on vehicle.Observes all safety regulations.Receives incoming materials, checking customer RMA against actual merchandise and inspecting material for defects.Utilize RF guns to stock shelves and pull material to fill current orders, back-orders, will calls, and inter-branch transfers, ensuring correct quantity and customer specifications.Packs and ships materials in designated cartons per customer order and department procedures.Receives and hangs reels of wire in designated area. Cuts wire to customer specification for counter, will call and other specific sales orders when needed.Posts purchase orders and other related data into the computer system.Solves related problems and notifies supervisor as necessary.Performs other duties as obvious or assigned.Commitment to Safety:
May be required to operate powered industrial trucks.Must be able to lift 50 lbs. several times a day, bend, twist, and climb.Adhere to all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies.Drive in a safe and positive manner always, ensure that those around you do not put themselves or others at risk. Your personal safety is your responsibility.Complete an accident/Incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or witnessed.Qualifications:
Must be able to work Monday through FridayMust be able to lift 50 lbs. Several times a day, bend, twist and climbMust be able to successfully pass a physical exam and drug screenMinimum High School DiplomaMinimum 1-year delivery experience, no CDL requiredCompensation and Benefits:
