is seeking qualified candidates for an
Administrative Assistant
opportunity in
Carlsbad, NM
to support the
Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) .
Work Location: On-Site at WIPP
The Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is the nation's only permanent nuclear waste repository for defense-generated transuranic (TRU) waste generated from Department of Energy (DOE) sites across the country. Waste is permanently isolated over 2,000 feet underground in deep salt beds.
Position Overview:The successful candidate will perform routine administrative duties including answering phones, making travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, assisting with internal and external correspondence, coordinating records, tracking commitments, updating calendars, and preparing reports.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of administrative or technical experience.The position requires the ability to interact professionally with multiple levels of management, employees, and job applicants.Must exercise good judgment, discretion, and professionalism in all matters.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
