Position SummaryM-F; 8am-5pm with callPre-procedure H&P examinations under the direction and supervision of a radiologistEntering orders in collaboration with the attending radiologistCompletes consults, patient consent, and procedure follow up appointmentsAssisting with IR procedures to include to include paracentesis, thoracentesis, arthrograms, lumbar punctures, chest tubes and thyroid biopsies as well as fluoroscopy examinations. All may be learned onsite.Assist with patient education, follow up and discharge notesCompetitive compensation and PTORadiology Partners is seeking a charismatic full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to become part of Radiology Partners West Ga Practice. This candidate will work closely with our Interventional Radiologists, the local hospital staff, referring clinicians, and patients.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
1 year experience preferred but will train the right candidatePara, Thora, US/CT guided biopsies, intravenous access, lumbar punctures, routine fluoro, myelogramBoard certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)BLS AND ACLS certification required
