Position Overview
The Senior Business Process Analyst will focus on documenting, analyzing, and optimizing end-to-end business processes that impact the finance department. This role requires a thorough understanding of process flows, control frameworks, and operational efficiencies to identify gaps, mitigate risks, and support high-quality financial program evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
Process Documentation and Analysis: Analyze business processes, document workflows, and provide recommendations for best practices to enhance finance operations.
Process Optimization: Use process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to drive operational efficiencies, reduce redundancies, and improve quality in finance workstreams.
Control Framework Application: Identify and implement control points in finance processes to ensure compliance with organizational standards and risk mitigation.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts across departments to ensure accurate process documentation and seamless cross-functional workflow integration.
Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives for process enhancements, automation opportunities, and data quality improvements to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.

Process Mapping: Proficiency with process mapping tools (such as Lucid or Visio) to document and analyze workflows.
