Clinica Sierra Vista , accredited by the rigorous Joint Commission, serves patients at 31 health centers in Fresno and Kern counties. Our services include Pediatric Care, Adult Care, Dental Care, Behavioral Health, Case Management, Prenatal & Women's Health, Substance Abuse Treatment, HIV/AIDS testing and treatment, Health Education, Outreach and WIC services. We're looking for someone to join our team as a
Physician OB/GYN
who:
Is responsible for providing high-quality Obstetrics and Gynecological medical services within an OB/GYN group practice for the patients of Clinica Sierra Vista. The Physician OB/GYN works closely with CSV providers and referrals' team to extend primary medical care focused on women's health, consult with specialists, respond to on-call duties, and be part of the hospital inpatient diverse rounds.
Benefits:$300,000 Base salary (Commensurate with experience)Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance for physician and family (begins on first day of employment)Sign-on bonus of up to $150,000 or Mortgage Subsidy up to $150,000.Paid CMERelocation reimbursementLoan repayment through the NHSC.Malpractice coverage through the FTCA/Federal Tort Claims Act.J1/H-1B visa candidates are welcome, CSV is cap exempt for H1-B VisaEssential Functions:
Adheres to the highest standards of medical ethics at all times.Provides comprehensive patient care through clinic setting.Hospital call(s) once per week and one weekend per month.Full scope obstetrics and gynecology practice, including minimally invasive gynecological surgery.Affiliated with Bakersfield Memorial Hospital or St. Agnes Medical Center, which has a full NICU team.Assures quality of care for all patients at all times and regularly participates in clinic Peer Review and Quality Assurance Programs.Shares in phone-triage responsibilities with other CSV physicians.Establishes and maintains affiliations and/or privileges with local hospital(s).Required to supervise mid-level personnel, including Nurse Practitioners and Physicians Assistants on-site and by telephone with outlying clinic sites.Other Responsibilities:
On a scheduled basis may be required to work at any satellite facility.Other duties as required.May represent CSV in professional groups.May assist the Chief Medical Officer in design, implementation, and evaluation of health care programs/protocols for patients and staff.Reasonable and predictable in person attendance.Qualifications:
Professional clinical experience in physician's specialty.Must possess:
California Physician's LicenseDEA CertificateBLS certification
Board Certification highly desirable.
