Boot Hill Casino and Resort is hiring a Human Resources Manager. Our HR Manager is responsible for leading and directing the routine functions and daily workflow of the Human Resources Department including, but not limited to, administering pay, benefits, leave, and performance evaluations. Responsible for the administration of Workers Compensation's and unemployment claims.

Examples of Duties (Includes but is not limited to the following):

Must have strong knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, and payroll systems.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Responsible for administration of workers compensation and unemployment claims.

Inputs all Workers comp and GL incidents, tracks cases through to completion, and interacts with guest and team members regarding questions about the programs.

Monitors all Safety/Workers Comp Programs and ensures compliance with OSHA regulations.

Promotes programs for benefits, wellness, and safety to the team members.

Conducts investigations and handles grievances in the absence of the Director of Human Resources or as determined necessary by the Director of Human Resources.

Responsible for the answering of all requests for verification of employment.

Responsible for team member records and personnel files.

Reviews activities and provides updates on all programs/areas with the Director of Human Resources.

Assists the Director of Human Resources in the designing and organizing of various team member engagement activities and team member rewards and recognition programs.

Develops staff, conducts interviews, hires, disciplines, trains, and evaluates staff in compliance with Human Resources policies.

Maintain accurate and up to date records for all staff trainings.

Assists with the safety and security of all guests and team members.

Required to take and pass tests related to Internal Control Procedure.

Must have a strong knowledge of all Marketing promotions and events.

Other duties as assigned.

Must be able to obtain a Level I Kansas Racing and Gaming License.
