Your Mission is Ours.Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2025 Intern Electrical Engineer (Power Design). In this role, you will:-Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.-Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.- Be responsible for working on the early design of Electrical Power Systems for Ground Based Radar Systems. -Work alongside Senior Engineers and Subject Matter Experts (SME) and across various programs to determine power needs and to design power circuits and subsystems to meet such needs. -Conduct trade studies, perform dynamic analyses, interface with vendors, test power and analog circuitry and interact with engineers of other disciplines (Mechanical, Systems, etc.). -Support failure analysis, Material Review Board processing, discrepancy documentation, resolution and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of:- Analog Circuits, design and analysis.- Power Systems design including Linear and Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS).- Lab Equipment - Oscilloscopes, Digital Voltmeters (DVMs), etc.- Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design. Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Basic Qualifications:- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.- Course work in analog circuits, design, and analysis.- Experience with Lab Equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Digital Voltmeters, etc.- Course work in electromagnetics.- Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $53,664 - $61,672. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
