Charlotte, North Carolina, United StatesThis position is responsible for supporting the key steps to activate new construction jobs. This position will be accountable for builder job creation, schedule requests from our Builder Partners, and Purchase Order entry. The New Construction Administrator role will collaborate daily with our Sales, Field Operations, and Finance team along with our external builders.Essential FunctionsThe responsibilities of a New Construction Administrator are to:Coordinate the fundamental administrative processes within Corporate.Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of a collaborative time managed workflow.Act as a coordinator between Builders, Field Operations Management, Branch Administrators, and Sales Managers.Support the New Construction department to facilitate the accurate and timely execution of all required tasks and processes.Administer and complete supporting documentation for scheduling New Construction jobs.Create sites and Build Jobs in Salesforce.Manage scheduling of New Construction prewires, trims, and activations in Salesforce.Confirm permits and schedule inspections where needed.Assist New Construction Management with reporting.Maintain Online Builder website schedules and schedule in Salesforce accordingly.Facilitate required steps to manage jobs incomplete due to home construction delays.May have additional duties as assigned by Management.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities RequiredMust be able to develop and maintain a high-level understanding of all policies, procedures, and protocol regarding customer accounts, documentation, and reporting.Demonstrate malleability and aptitude to learn, process, and effectively implement new policies and procedures as corporate standards are modified over time.Must be able to demonstrate professionalism and courteousness in the handling of both internal and external customer inquiries.Must be organized and detail-oriented.Must maintain a high level of product knowledge, including, but not limited to: current product features and specifications, current corporate promotions, pricing, and discounts.Must be able and willing to perform at a high level of competency and accuracy to meet or exceed departmental standards while upholding the best interests of the customer and the company.Must be self-motivated and able to take initiative to complete work in a highly accurate manner, within established timelines, guidelines, and standards.Must be able and willing to listen, work as a functional member of a team, and take direction as needed to meet goals and complete work.Must be able to maintain a professional presence and represent the company favorably.Must have strong verbal and computer skills.Must be able to understand and embrace the company core values, corporate goals, mission, vision, and priorities as set forth by Management, and be able to continually seek ways to meet or exceed goals and fulfill priorities.Other Experience RequiredBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.3-5 years previous administrative experience within a fast-paced environment required.New construction office experience is a plus.
