Field Services Engineer

Job Summary:Service Engineer based REMOTELY for a leading packaging machinery manufacturing company. This role is responsible for for installation, start-up, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical packaging systems.This is a direct hrie job opportunity. Candidate will be based remotely and travel from local airport.Required Qualifications:Travel up to 90%PLC & Servo Drive troubleshooting experience (Siemens, Rockwell, Allen-Bradley)Experience maintaining manufacturing equipment to include both high and low voltage machineryMust be able to read and understand technical drawingsUnderstanding of electrical schematics and drawingsPreferred:Associates degree in engineering/automation or related disciplineBi-lingual (Spanish/English) communication skillsResponsibilities:Must be prepared to travel 80%-90%Provides packaging machinery technical service, troubleshooting, repairs, and general customer support at client manufacturing plantsInstallation, start-up, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical systemsResolve machinery problems and maintenance issuesProvide machinery assembly, electrical programming, testing, and development activity supportDevelop and maintain productive working relationships with customersThe essential functions of this role include:Working weekendsQualifications:Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 4 years of experienceEducation: AssociatesSkills:CADManufacturingPackagingPLCAutomation
