The company seeks an experienced Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) leader to help build and maintain the ERM framework. The Senior Enterprise Risk Manager is critical in developing, implementing, and overseeing the enterprise-wide risk management program. This role is responsible for working closely with the Chief Risk Officer in identifying, assessing, and mitigating enterprise risks that may impact the organization's financial stability, reputation, and operational and strategic objectives.The Senior Enterprise Risk Manager will collaborate with senior leadership and heads of functions to ensure that enterprise risk management strategies align with the company's overall strategy & objectives. The Senior Enterprise Risk Manager is a vital newly created senior leadership position.The Senior Enterprise Risk Manager will have responsibility for developing ERM tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks and to manage risks according to an enterprise risk management framework. The Manager will be expected to establish the ERM architecture for the organization and regularly report on the status of the enterprise risk to both the enterprise risk committee and the board.The Senior Enterprise Risk Manager will be experienced in engaging with senior business leaders by monitoring and analyzing enterprise risks and reporting these risks as well as providing key input to ensure alignment with the organization's objectives.What you'll doImplement robust, structured, and explicit risk management practices anchored around a centrally established ERM framework across the organization at a function level.Embed existing, new, or updated ERM principles & capabilities across the company to build up "a culture of risk and embed risk management awareness and consistent practices.Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of potential risks, both internal and external, that could impact the organization.Develop, implement, and evolve the ERM framework including effective governance, independence, culture, risk identification, and control.Responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing evolution of the organization's ERM, and risk appetite, and supporting the operational risk management and financial risk frameworks.Responsible for reviewing and assisting in identifying possible business and prioritizing those risks across the organizationPlay a key role in collaborating with function heads and risk owners to assess specific risks within their areas of responsibility that are Tier 1 enterprise risks.Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies to mitigate identified risks.Collaborate with function heads and risk owners to ensure that risk mitigation plans are effectively executed.Prepare regular risk reports for the CRO, the organization's Executive Leadership Group, the Audit and Risk Committee, and the Executive Risk Committee highlighting key risk indicators, ongoing risk management efforts, and recommendations for improvement.Work with Heads of functions and the organization's leadership team to capture the risks in their area and put in place processes to track and report on risk mitigation.What you'll needBachelor's degree (BSc/MSc, MBA or equivalent) with specialization in business, risk management or financeExtensive expertise and knowledge of direct risk management and leadership experience in the Enterprise Risk Management areaExperience in effectively championing risk governance across multiple stakeholders and competing prioritiesRelevant certification in Risk Management or related field (CFA, FRM) is preferredThorough understanding of risk assessment best practices, concepts, practices, and toolsExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and presentation/report writing skills, combined with a good understanding of business dynamics and commercial value driversPrevious experience managing a risk program or framework and liaising with regulatorsStrong knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance, and other Control frameworks
