This individual will be responsible for for Accounting, Financial Reporting, Payroll, and Cash Management.This newly created, add-to-staff role will report directly into the Controller, as well as directly interacting with the CFO, Leadership Team & Acquisition Teams. Inventory / Cost Accounting experience is a plus but not required - Public Accounting experience is required.Company Perks:1-2 days / week in Boston officeBase + Bonus compensation structureFlexible scheduleHigh-growth, Global companyHealth / Dental / Vision / 401k matchResponsibilities:Manage monthly closing of financials for multiple manufacturing facilities in various states in accordance with US GAAP and Company policiesHelp design, implement and enforce effective controls, accounting processes, systems and proceduresDirect ownership of the Fixed Asset ledger, and related capitalization, depreciation, and inventoryDemonstrated ability to partner with various departments and effectively deliver results including Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Operations and Internal Audit.Financial reporting for strategic decision-support as it relates to Fixed AssetsMentor and coach Staff level AccountantsResponsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual reportingEnsure organizations financial transactions are properly recorded in the correct accounts within the GL, in compliance with GAAPPrepare and review annual/quarterly budgets vs. actual operating statements on property and managing entity levelDirect point of contact for External Auditors for related mattersReview the work of junior-level staffPerform other duties and ad hoc projects as neededRequirements:3+ years of Accounting experienceInventory / Cost / Consolidations all a plusPublic Accounting experience is requiredCPA preferred but not requiredBachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalentAbility to communicate effectivelyInterest in growing with the organization
