Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) in Wilmington, DE
Salary Range:
$80000 – $85000 (with potential up to $90,000 based on experience)
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview:
We are looking for a Trust Administrator to manage a portfolio of 100+ trusts, acting as the main client liaison. In this role, you’ll handle various trust-related tasks including approving transactions, facilitating distributions, and ensuring compliance without managing investments. This position offers significant client interaction and a dynamic work environment, where you will be pivotal in supporting the client’s trust administration needs.
Responsibilities:
Collect and organize necessary documentation for trust administration.
Input trust details into internal systems and open bank/brokerage accounts as needed.
Process and record investment and distribution transactions per client requests.
Handle trust-related expenses, manage Crummey and beneficiary notices, and maintain compliance with regulations.
Conduct annual trust reviews and assist in billing processes, including invoice preparation and collection.
Support Patriot Act compliance for all new and transferred trusts, addressing any compliance issues.
Offer training to Trust Administrator Assistants as needed.
Maintain communication with clients, their legal and financial advisors, and provide high-level client service.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, ideally with a focus on trust management.
2-3 years’ experience in trust administration.
Familiarity with trust accounting software (e.g., AccuTrust, SEI, or similar).
CTFA certification is highly preferred.
Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple trusts.
