This role is pivotal in leading the design, architecture, and development of scalable, reliable software solutions that drive our products forward. As a key contributor, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor other engineers, and uphold best practices to create an efficient, high-performing engineering environment. The ideal candidate has a passion for innovation, a deep understanding of software development principles, and the ability to make impactful technical decisions. Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions aligned with Entrata’s strategic goals.Architect complex systems and ensure they are scalable, reliable, and meet performance standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, QA, and DevOps, to deliver high-impact projects.Mentor and provide technical guidance to software engineers, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement.Implement best practices in coding standards, code reviews, and technical documentation to maintain high code quality.Drive the adoption of new technologies and tools to optimize development processes.Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges to improve application performance and scalability.Participate in strategic decision-making processes regarding architecture and technology stack.Ensure software solutions comply with security and regulatory requirements.Contribute to project planning, including defining timelines, dependencies, and potential risks.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on building scalable applications.Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., PHP, Node.js).Strong understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS, GCP, or Azure.Experience with microservices architecture and API development.Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.Experience in SaaS product development within the property management or real estate industry.Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.Strong background in database design and optimization.Proven track record of leading engineering initiatives in an Agile environment.
