can make a difference with the support of strong leadership and a team environment.What are we looking for?The role of the DevOps Build Engineer is to facilitate the continuous integration/delivery pipeline of all artifacts deployed for websites, web services, and mobile applications produced by the Versant Health Digital Services team. As a DevOps Build Engineer, you will edit/create build scripts for deployable artifacts that are reliably delivered to Versant's deployment tools. You will also coordinate the code features produced by the development team into stable releases handed to the Quality Assurance team, coordinate code merge conflicts with the development team, and perform post-release merges of code. All processes used must adhere to the requirements of Versant's Auditing team.The ideal candidate will have experience with various industry-standard CI/CD tools and technologies that our websites/mobile applications and multiple web service layers are implemented with. Previous experience upgrading a Team City build server for various modern and legacy .NET-based artifacts is highly preferred. The ability to coordinate database script changes, security proxy configuration changes, networking changes, and deployable artifacts into well-coordinated releases is paramount.Where you will have an impactCollaborate with and across IT teams to build, deploy and support full stack development tools and technologies.Coordinate merge conflicts with developers.Help maintain all CI/CD tooling to allow secure access for designated IT roles.Maintain all CI/CD tooling to the latest stable/secure versions deemed by Versant's Security team.Collaborate in and adhere to Agile delivery methodology ceremonies.Participate in any/all training and educational activities necessary to fulfill at least the minimum requirements as specified within your departmental goals.On-call availability as required.Other duties as assigned.What’s necessary to do the job?Preferred bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.Five (5) plus years of CI/CD experience, or equivalent.Deep knowledge of Git/Bitbucket, Octopus, and Team City preferred.C#.Understanding of on-premise hosting with Internet Information Services on Microsoft Windows Servers.Knowledge and experience with the following web technologies: Classic ASP, .NET MVC.Knowledge and experience with the following web service technologies: .NET Core Microservices.Knowledge and experience with API security proxies such as Axway Gateway.Knowledge and experience with the following mobile application technologies: Xamarin, .NET MAUI.Knowledge and experience in the insurance, health, or vision care industry preferred.HIPAA & Security RequirementsAll Associates must comply with the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) as it pertains to disclosures of protected health information (PHI) as described in the Notice of Privacy Practices and HIPAA Privacy Policies and Procedures.
