Energy EV Manager

Overview:

CBRE's Global Workplace Solutions team is seeking an experienced Energy EV Manager to support our electric vehicle infrastructure and energy management initiatives across North America. This role combines strategic energy management, utility relations, and operational excellence to support our client's ambitious sustainability goals. The position offers an opportunity to shape the future of EV infrastructure while driving environmental impact through sustainable transportation solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

Energy Management for EV Charging Sites:

Support portfolio North American EV charging sites

Develop and implement comprehensive site operations procedures

Establish and maintain monitoring systems for performance tracking

Lead continuous improvement initiatives based on operational feedback

Drive standardization of EV charging infrastructure processes

Utility Account Management:

Manage utility relationships for North American sites

Coordinate new service applications and account setups

Ensure accurate utility billing and rate structures

Maintain detailed tracking of utility meters and their applications

Execute utility setup processes ahead of power requirements

Strategic Support & Analysis:

Conduct energy rate analysis and optimization

Develop pricing strategies for EV charging operations

Provide support on energy policy matters

Support broader sustainability initiatives

Contribute to program development and scaling

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experience in energy management or utility operations

Strong understanding of utility operations and billing structures including various rate and tariff structures across North America

Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $118,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
