Top Secret Cleared Senior Network Engineer

to join our team at MacDill AFB in Tampa FL. This is an on-site position.Job Summary:The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services.Senior Network Engineers perform Tier 3 network support. Senior Network Engineers must be detail-oriented and have in-depth knowledge of networking hardware and software. Extensive experience in areas such as network design and implementation, LAN/WAN interfacing, security, internet protocols and TCP/IP, as well as server and network infrastructure is required.This position tests and analyzes elements of network facilities, including power, software, security features, In-Line Encryption (INE) communications devices, communications lines, modems, and terminals and is responsible for the overall integration of the enterprise network.Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):Engineer and lead enterprise data, In-Line Encryption (INE) device, voice and video networks.Collaborate with vendors, the Government, carriers, and technical staff on network implementation, optimization and ongoing management.Providing high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology, including LAN/WAN hardware, switches, bridges and routers.Lead technical teams that integrate new technology into the existing operational environment.Establish and document baselines to measure network performance and capability across a global enterprise.Advise senior government staff on industry best practices and provide policy recommendations to implement those practices.Providing comprehensive systems and network engineering and architectural planning services.Interfacing with O&M personnel by providing strategic design and support to projects as directed.Comprehensively reviewing existing architectures on a regular basis, recommending and assisting with the design and implementation of systems and network improvements as required.Establishing systems engineering with a focus on the end-to-end functionality of complex systems.Establishing service integration, database structure management, active directory services/DNS, Thin/zero client.Providing data storage with expertise in SANs technologies, NAS technologies, iSCSI, and DAS.Establishing portal/web services with expertise in the design of medium to large enterprise farms, geographical replication, interfacing with external data sources and integration of third-party add-ons.Monitoring PKI/certificate authority.Providing CRM.Performing disaster recovery and backup/restore.Supporting efforts for cybersecurity technology, risks identification and risk mitigation strategies related to cybersecurity, and A&A support documentation in accordance with applicable DoD and IC directives.Maintaining LAN, WAN and VoIP infrastructures, voice and data network systems, advanced engineering, and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems.Establishing SATCOM with an emphasis on IP satellite.Providing support with Wireless networking, Application delivery networking, Cloud computing, Mobile computing, End Point management, and desktop computing.Providing Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) or other NSA Capabilities Package.Engineering enterprise data, voice, and video networks.Establishing and operating network test facilities.Maintaining a secure transfer of data to multiple locations via internal and external networks.Working with vendors, the Government, carriers, and technical staff on network implementation, optimization, and ongoing management.Some positions may require shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the USSOCOM mission.EDUCATION:Min 8 years with HS degree, 6 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, or 3 years with PHD.YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:Min 8 years with HS degree, 6 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, or 3 years with PHD.SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS:Required Certifications:IAT II and
