Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates in-depth abilities success with managing the identification and addressing of client needs, including:
CA Ops, AMI Ops, z/OS, JCL, REXX TSO, and ISPF Endevor;
Installation and configuration of OEM software products, IBM and CA-Broadcom products;
Technical leadership experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect (or similar);
Manage engagements as a trusted technical advisor to clients and project members to solve complex technical challenges;
Thought leadership with in-depth knowledge in mainframe architecture, product solutions, and services;
Agile / Scrum, Application Architecture, COBOL, Database Schema Management, Workload Scheduler, and Control-M;
Analyze mainframe systems to formulate plans to improve, migrate, or modernize the systems;
Lead requirements gathering sessions with customer stakeholders to facilitate the documentation of technical requirements for mainframe system / product solutions;
Hands-on experience working with z/OS, COBOL, and Integration middleware technologies such as zOS Connect, Solace, Kafka, and message protocols/formats such as MQ, JMS, SOAP, JSON, XML.
Design and architect highly available mainframe solutions using the BMC product suite, including BMC AMI, BMC Cost Analyzer, and BMC Control-M;
Develop migration strategies and plans for transitioning from legacy mainframe systems to modernized environments, including data migration strategies;
Hands-on experience in mainframe solutions including operating system, sub-systems (Db2, CICS, MQ, etc.), storage, security, and hardware;
Familiarity with mainframe analysis tools: SML, Cast, etc; and,
IT operations, Job Scheduling, and Mainframe Systems Automation.

The salary range for this position is: $130,000 - $256,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
