Job Title: Procurement Manager

Job Description

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for coordinating and executing the supplier review of all ERP price lists. Prices will be negotiated according to spend and forecasts, and proposed increases will be scrutinized based on a defined escalation path. All updates will be submitted to an analyst for implementation. Clear record-keeping is required, and input into process enhancements is key.

Responsibilities

Coordinate supplier review of all ERP price lists.

Analyze results and determine negotiation strategy.

Negotiate pricing with suppliers per escalation path.

Organize and document results.

Complete other tasks as needed or directed by management.

Prepare accurate and timely status reports for management.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive laboratory and business data.

Work Environment

The position is fully onsite and primarily involves computer work and analysis. It may require sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods. This position is a 3 month contract with potential to extend.
