Certifications and/or experience in Guidewire policy, billing or claims and digital portals.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills

:

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in managing system implementation and/or upgrade projects related to and/or leveraging GW Digital Portals. Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in insurance business applications such as:

Expertise in Guidewire Cloud, Policy Center preferred. Billing Center and Claim Center considered;

Experience in Guidewire Portals, such as ProducerEngage, CustomerEngage, VendorEngage, ServiceRepEngage;

Knowledge in Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting / UI / Data Model);

Experience in Software architecture and design patterns;

Experience on any database Oracle / SQL Server and well versed in SQL;

Exposure to SCM tool such as GIT, TFS, SVN, etc.;

Experience in Document management systems;

Knowledge and experience on Tomcat and or Websphere/Weblogic;

Real time knowledge and experience on enterprise system integration, preferably from Insurance domain background;

Should have understanding and experience of software development industry standard practices;

Coordinate build, deployment and code merge activities;

Work with client business SMEs to understand the requirements and translate them into viable solutions;

Maintain and fix issues in various environments like Dev, QA, UAT and Prod;

Involvement in unit testing and documentation; and,

Guidewire Studio, Guidewire Cloud Console, Visual Code Studio/JetBrains, JMS, JSON, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, Rest API, Git/Bitbucket.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in identifying and addressing client needs by:

Personal Lines;

Commercial Lines;

Direct and agency distribution channels;

Insurance contracts;

Product models;

Policy administration;

Claims;

Billing; and,

Advisory (ISO/NCCI/AAIS) agencies, regulatory and compliance agencies.

The salary range for this position is: $130,000 - $256,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
