Overview of the role: The SMB Account Manager position requires an experienced professional to build strong, long-lasting relationships with our small and mid-sized business clients. The successful candidate will focus on understanding the unique IT challenges of SMBs and ensuring all capacity requirements for ongoing and new projects are met, while tailoring solutions to align with their growth goals. Key responsibilities: - Building long-term, trusting relationships with SMB clients by understanding their IT needs and challenges. - Negotiating and closing deals while identifying new business opportunities to increase revenue. - Creating and maintaining Account Plans, tracking revenue and headcount growth metrics. - Conducting market research to identify upselling opportunities and deliver compelling presentations. - Seeking new business opportunities through client referrals, networking, and social media channels. - Presenting BairesDevs value proposition to potential and referred clients effectively. Requirements: - Experience: 2 years in sales executive, client partner, or engagement manager roles in IT/Tech industry. - Client Relations: Proven experience in customer relationship management and deal closure. - Industry Focus: Experience with IT services (not products). - Sales Skills: Passion for sales and account management. - Technical Background: Prior experience with software development outsourcing. - Desirable: Experience in selling on-site or offshore IT services.
