Sr. SAP ATTP Business Analyst

Collaborates with business process owners, subject matter experts, SAP team members, and other external resources to identify, develop, implement and document solutions to address business initiatives and improve business operations. Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations. Develops, documents, tests and implements SAP configuration changes. Delivers second level support and training to user community. Relies extensively on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Considered to be a top-level contributor.
Essential Duties
Collaborates with user community to deliver solutions to support enterprise-wide business initiatives and improve business operations, that require the regular use of ingenuity and a high degree of creativity. Guides the successful completion of major programs/projects and may function in a project leadership role.Acts as a trusted liaison between IT and the appropriate functional departments. Critically examines business issues and asks clarifying questions to define solution requirements. Designs effective process flows to meet solution requirements. Determines project objectives and deliverables. Sets and meets project target dates. Communicates regularly with user community regarding the status of projects and assists with prioritization decisions. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in failure to achieve major organizational objectives.Develops design specifications and performs SAP application configurationBreaks complex business problems down into manageable processes. Prepares a gap analysis measuring SAP capability against business requirements. Develops functional specifications needed for development activities including interfaces,Thoroughly tests new solutions and their impact on other processes to ensure successful implementationsPrepares and executes test scripts that accurately model business processes. Creates test plans and test data that ensures appropriate unit and integration testing. Consults with business analysts supporting other functions to review integration test resultsDelivers second level support and training to user communityInitiates and nurtures productive relationships with subject matter experts. Builds knowledge and capability of subject matter experts to the point where they can effectively provide first level support to user community. Documents Business Process Procedures (BPP's) and develops useful quick reference guides. Develops and delivers effective user training materials and programs. Investigates and resolves SAP support issues including those involving the application of OSS Notes. Uses root cause analysis methods in problem determination to prevent problem reoccurrence.Maintains SAP's functional integrity and validated stateUnderstands and takes ownership of validation responsibilities. Actively participates as a member of the Upsher-Smith SAP Validation Review Board. Assures accuracy of documents related to system validation and the correct assignment of GMP impact to business processes. Consults with Technical Services and Quality Assurance on validation issues. Adheres to Upsher-Smith validation policies as they apply to SAP.Maintains system documentationPrepares maintains and ensures the accuracy of design specifications, BPML, process models, BPPs, test scripts and training materials.Leads, consults, supports and mentors other business analysts to ensure consistency and coordination between development and business support activities.Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments. Provides leadership within the SAP Business Analyst function. Demonstrates willingness and efficiency in guiding others though use of experience and expertise in SAP information system solutions that exhibit a high standard of quality through reliability, ease of maintenance and processing efficiency. May directly supervise the work of others. May be consulted regarding the performance of the other Business Analysts. This position does not carry salary administration responsibilitiesContinuously improves business and SAP competencies through self-education and participation in professional organizations.Is active in at least one professional organization that directly relates to job responsibilities. Acts proactively to minimize problems.Education / Experience Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in providing SAP business analysis support with at least 2 years of demonstrated ATTP experience within the pharmaceutical industry Global Track and Trace Serialization required, to include system realization and deployments including hands-on experience implementing SAP ATTP. Knowledge of global pharmaceutical industry standards/guidelines to enable serialization for pharmaceutical manufacturing and contract manufacturing.
Demonstrated ATTP hands on configuration experience to realize business requirements. Experience rolling out compliance modules in ATTP. Demonstrated hands on experience in CMO, 3PL, and downstream customer (e.g. wholesalers, distributors, dispensers, etc.) onboarding. Working knowledge of SAP Track and Trace Solutions and GS1 standards e.g., GTIN, SGTIN, SSCC, GLN, SGLN, GCP. Strong understanding and analysis of XML file-based data exchange, in addition to demonstrated experience Serialization Master data setup.
Demonstrated understanding of global serialization regulations and experience installing, configuring, deploying, documenting and testing system to meet specific business requirements nice to have. Experience trouble shooting failed EPCIS events/messages along with identification of the root cause and work to resolve the issue preferred. Experience working with change controls and GxP validation protocols nice to have.
