A partner organization is seeking a
Business Loan Assistant II in Kansas City, MO.
The Business Loan Assistant II provides administrative support and exceptional service to the Banking team while managing a business loan portfolio. This role involves referring prospective business and individual clients to internal business partners and developing long-term business relationships with clients.Responsibilities
Build strong client relationships and identify cross-sell opportunities.Support sales proposals and attend client meetings with team members.Maintain accurate CRM and loan data; assist with client onboarding.Collect, review, and organize due diligence and loan documents.Assist in loan document review and credit facility closings.Coordinate renewals, financial updates, and monitor post-closing exceptions.Support client loan advances, draw requests, and resolve payment issues.Train and assist new team members; provide excellent client service.Use technology for data analysis and reporting.Communicate clearly, uphold confidentiality, and maintain reliable attendance.Requirements
At least 5 years of related work experience.Proven ability to review and understand loan documentation.Knowledge of commercial banking products and services, including credit analysis and underwriting.Understanding of organizational documents and identification of signers.Salesforce/nCino experience preferred.Effective communication skills with a results-oriented mindset.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.Demonstrated financial acumen and problem-solving skills.Experience in a fast-paced service-oriented role, preferably in a commercial banking environment.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Economics preferred, or equivalent work experience.Benefits
