Manager, Product Management
Overview
The Product team is part of Mastercard’s Open Banking division and brings to life our vision of empowering consumers to benefit from their own financial data. We are passionate about creating solutions that unlock FinTech innovation and streamline everyday consumer experiences. Many leading organizations are already using the Mastercard Open Banking platform to deliver some of the industry’s most compelling services. Open Banking is a fast-growing area of Mastercard's business, and this team is a key driver of new capabilities and a very exciting place to work!
Role
The Manager, Product Management will be responsible for being an operations-oriented Product Manager and work with the platform product development team to make sure that customers have the right tools and capabilities. This role will report to the Vice President of Product Management – Connect & Shared Services Platform.
Job responsibilities include:
• Drive tangible data-driven Product performance outcomes across key Product metrics, manage to a quantified scorecard, continuously monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators and optimizing product performance
• Deliver against key Product Experience metrics with a focus on optimizing CX, usage and revenues
• Act as a subject matter expert for performance metrics, ensuring that they are incorporated into all Product development enhancements
• Embody a user-centric culture of data driven, test and learn experimentation, continuously assessing and enhancing the Product user experience. Participate in cross functional teams including Delivery and Servicing teams to ensure that Products have a best-in-class servicing experience
• Partner with internal teams to build and monitor Product performance dashboards and drive ongoing Product enhancements focused on Product availability, scalability, resilience & redundancy and responsiveness
• Participate in scheduled Voice of the Customer engagement with the Regions, Customers and End Users to identify friction points, creating action plans and ensuring actions are added to the roadmap to address them
• Drive institutionalized knowledge through the use of consistent product documentation (e.g., support documents) across the Studio framework
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning by leveraging the learning & development curriculum to augment existing knowledge, skills and experiences
• Lead by example with hands-on approaches to demonstrate product management excellence and share best practices
• Demonstrate and drive Mastercard Way behaviors through their behavior (e.g. customer and stakeholder interactions)
All About You
• Experience in product management and/or product development with a focus on how customers use products
• Knowledge of Open Banking and payments is a plus
• Global or multi-national business experience strongly preferred along with highly developed multi-cultural sensitivity
• Experience working with geographically dispersed global teams
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to structure, manage, and coordinate several complex workstreams with multiple stakeholders Self-motivated with an ability to work independently and to navigate ambiguity
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
• Ability to challenge established views and assumptions at all levels and facilitate/lead discussions
• Interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility across stakeholder groups
• Ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior management and business partners

NYC Salary Range - $143,000 - $228,000
Westchester County Salary Range - $137,000 - $218,000

Role
