In addition to overseeing project coordination, this role involves acquiring permits, managing budgets, personnel, and contracts, and ensuring meticulous compliance with project documentation. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are imperative for effectively coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining strong relationships with clients, coworkers, contractors, and the public. Moreover, the Project Manager provides valuable feedback to senior management and conducts regular site visits to ensure project progress and quality standards are met. Performs any additional duties as assigned.What you’ll bring to the table:The ideal candidate for this role must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. They should demonstrate proficiency in interpreting project documents, blueprints, and schematics and have a thorough understanding of local and state plumbing codes. Additionally, expertise in project management software and the Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Professional appearance, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record are also required attributes.How you’ll qualify :At minimum, this role requires at least 8 years of experience in estimating, project cost development, or project management within the Mechanical Piping or Plumbing field. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management. Candidates should possess a deep understanding of mechanical piping systems, materials, and installation techniques. Additionally, holding a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be advantageous.What to expect in the office and field:This role involves extended periods of desk work, requiring proficiency with computers and other office equipment. Additionally, candidates must be comfortable walking on uneven surfaces and adaptable to various weather conditions when conducting site visits.
