Project Engineer I

E.R. Carpenter, LP., a petrochemical company located in Pasadena, TX, has a great career opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our team!This position is responsible for serving as a liaison for internal and external project personnel while working in a normal chemical facility/maintenance environment with exposure to temperature changes, weather, and unpleasant conditions.Essential Functions:As directed, supports new and existing equipment for repair, improvements, preventive maintenance, etc.; gathers, clarifies, and files information to keep equipment files up-to-date.Participates in vendor selection and purchasing; contractor selection and management; safety and environmental compliance impacting project and maintenance activities, etc.Supports plant utilities such as cooling towers, RO/DI, etc., on an as-needed basis.Performs other duties as required to ensure sustainable compliance and continuous improvement.
