CIG's projects range from Renewable energy, utility-scale solar to hospitality and residential developments.Role DescriptionCIG is currently seeking candidates for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role. The CFO will oversee and have responsibility for all company financial activity, including but not limited to: treasury, tax, accounting, and business intelligence functions.This position requires strong creative problem-solving skills and strong cognitive and analytical capabilities.The ideal candidate should understand and be capable of providing strategic tax solutions domestically and internationally. The CFO will always provide transparency into business economics and long-term performance trends and effectively communicate to all senior management and the Board of Directors on its financial performance.The CFO should learn and understand the business intimately, understand the operations, and identify growth opportunities. The CFO will report to the CEO, become a partner and trusted advisor to the CEO, and serve as a key senior management decision-maker. The CFO will have other lead Controllers and Directors that they will oversee. This position will allow for profit share opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Operational PlanningAnnual Financial Plan / BudgetFinancial Analysis, Reporting & ControlFinancial ForecastingFinancial & Compliance AuditsCash Management and Cash Flow ForecastingTax PlanningInsurance & Risk ManagementControl Environment & Internal ControlsRegulatory Filings (Tax, Statutory)Supervision of finance, accounting, and BI functions at all operating entitiesMaintaining a strong relationship with OfficersM&AThe desired candidate would have:Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA/MBA or other advanced business or accounting degree highly desired.
