Solstice Consulting Group is seeking an
Enterprise Applications Lead (IT)
for an energy client based in Houston, Texas. Role is on a HYBRID (3 days per week) schedule in the Houston office with up to 10% travel.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and 10+ years experience in application development and support (low code) and business process and analysis
Microsoft Certifications in Azure and Power Platform strongly preferred
Experience supporting Power Platform Apps, both Canvas Apps and Model Driven apps required
Experience with backend technologies including Dataverse and SQL required
Base salary of $120k - $145k DOE plus 10% bonus opportunity, LTI and excellent benefits
Role Overview:
The
Enterprise Applications Lead
role will be responsible for being an advisor for Microsoft Platforms and applications to both the IT analysts and Business stakeholders. The responsibility also includes ensuring that resources handle day-to-day support of issues accordingly. Ensure the direction of the analysis and recommended solution is appropriate, effective, and meets the business requirements.
Responsibilities:
Project Implementation.
Spearhead the implementation of diverse projects related to companys applications on Microsoft Power Platform.
Thoroughly review and manage end-user requirements for new applications.
Craft comprehensive design documents outlining the proposed changes.
System Maintenance.
Take charge of maintaining various systems and technologies.
Promptly address reported application issues to ensure optimal performance.
Application Administration.
Guide system administrators in setting up assigned applications and managing system interfaces.
Oversee the administration of various applications to maintain system stability and security.
Internal Support
Champion the enhancement of various IT systems by implementing lifecycle management practices for assigned and dependent applications.
Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Documentation.
o Scrutinize and manage documentation for all supported applications to ensure accuracy and relevance.
o Maintain up-to-date documentation encompassing IT PMO, Disaster Recovery, Interconnection, and other relevant areas.
Testing.
Carefully review and manage the testing of multiple system upgrades before releasing them to the Business.
Provide recommendations for application system upgrades and enhancements to drive continuous improvement.
On-Call Support and Customer Service
Offer on-call support during non-business hours to Operations as needed.
Provide prompt and effective assistance to resolve any issues that may arise.
Process Improvements.
o Serve as a subject matter expert in identifying opportunities for process optimization.
Lead initiatives to streamline existing processes and enhance overall efficiency.
People Management.
Provide performance planning and guidance for direct reports, fostering their professional growth and development.
Effectively manage Analysts, ensuring successful execution of roadmaps, budgets, and forecasts for assigned applications and system environments.
Collaborate with direct reports to mentor soft, strategic, and technical skills.
Share technical expertise with colleagues to facilitate problem-solving and collective success.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in computer science or related area and 10+ Years of experience in Code Development implementation and support experience.
Microsoft Certifications in Azure and Power Platform are strongly preferred.

7+ years of business analysis experience, including development of business processes, functional specifications, testing, and implementation.
Experience developing online training and test plans/scripts.
