Responsible for data mining, consolidating, tracking, trending, and reporting financial and operations data that are derived from multiple data points and system applications. Creates weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and presentations as needed for the Health Plan Live- data validation.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within California as you take on some tough challenges.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Location: 3990 Concours Street, Ontario, CA. Fully Remote.
Primary Responsibilities:
Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate HealthCare Partners’ (HCP) commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each internal and external customer
Data mines, imports, exports, and integrates data between multiple systems
Compiles and consolidates spreadsheets, databases, draw charts and graphs into reports for management decision making
Develops actionable reports for internal clients using various reporting and query tools, especially MS-SQL and Reporting Services
Identifies critical areas of the data structure and recommends improvements to existing reports and reporting processes
Documents data systems and processes
Uses, protects, and discloses HCP patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
Performs additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of analytical experience
1+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Computer literate
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Proficient with spreadsheet or database development
Strong reporting skills and report design experience, using reporting applications such as Microsoft Reporting Services
Understanding the concept of relational databases and data warehousing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Strong analytical, problem solving, planning and prioritization skills
Customer service oriented
Ethical and professional business behavior with an ability to maintain confidentiality
Self motivated and self directed to work within a team and/or work independently
Extremely detail-oriented in both verifying own work as well as the work of others
Ability to interact and build good rapport with all levels of the organization

California Residents Only: The hourly range for California residents is $23.22 to $45.43 per hour.
