Collaborate multi-functionally to create design artifacts and develop best-in-class software solutions for multiple Visa technical offerings

Essential Functions:Demonstrates relevant technical working knowledge to understand requirements.

Identifies and contributes to the development and solution strategies to team members that improve the design and functionality of interface features across one or more project features, under minimal guidance.

Applies standard processes on the use of programming languages (e.g. HTML, C++, Java) to write code that fulfills website modification requests and technical requirements.

Collaborates with others to support the piloting of new technology capabilities and features that enhance the user website experience across e-commerce products.

Analyzes bugs for simple issues and applies debugging tools to verify assumptions.

**We do not expect that any single candidate would fulfill all of these characteristics. For instance, we have exciting team members who are really focused on building scalable systems but didn't work with payments technology or web applications before joining Visa.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.Visa is not offering relocation assistance for this role.Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

* 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

* Proficiency in Java and Javascript is a must.

* Proficient in implementing design patterns and hands on knowledge of Spring, hibernate and RDBMS technologies like SQL Server, Oracle or similar and No SQL technology like MongoDB is preferred.

* Proven skills in technologies like React, Cypress, NodeJS is preferred.

* Experience with web service standards and related patterns (REST, JSON).

* Understanding of LLMs, leveraging and building GenAI solutions

* Experience of working in a hybrid cloud environment with AWS and/or GCP.

* Keep up to date with the latest trends in web engineering and introduce them into projects when appropriate

* Experience with Agile development incorporating TDD, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, utilizing technologies such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Chef, Sonar, JUnit, Mock frameworks.

* Experience developing large scale, enterprise class distributed system or subsystems that require high availability, low-latency, & strong data consistency computing.

* Experience implementing solutions for low-latency, distributed services using open standard technologies.

* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills and the ability to present complex ideas in a clear & concise way, a team player with a strong work ethic.Additional Information
