Production Assembler for our B Shift (4:00 PM - 12:30 AM)

at our Fairport, NY facility.

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in our assembly operations, setting up and operating various assembly equipment, including hydraulic presses, drill presses, welding machines, and more. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate across different work cells, fostering a dynamic team environment and supporting cross-functional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, staking machines, drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.

Rotate between work cells, as needed, to support production goals.

Pack finished products for shipment to meet quality and packaging standards.

Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area.

Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cell performance.

Follow established quality standards in all tasks and processes.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment.

**Skills:**The ability to comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions

.

**Technical Skills:**Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.

Physical Requirements

:

- Ability to exert up to 20 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.Ability to bend, stand for extended periods, and move about the work area.

**Training & Shift Information:**Training will take place on A Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) before transitioning to the designated B Shift.
