We are seeking a committed
IT Tech Application Support Analyst
to join our Affiliates tech team. This role is key to maintaining smooth application and technical operations, collaborating closely with development and infrastructure teams to resolve issues, document processes, and manage deployments. Responsibilities include overseeing environment use, handling Azure DevOps releases, managing support ticketing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Familiarity with application functions is vital for release planning, testing, and user communication.
ResponsibilitiesProduction Support & Environment Management: Manage daily operations of applications, coordinate environment use, handle releases, and maintain Azure DevOps deployments.Issue Resolution & Ticketing: Identify, troubleshoot, and create tickets for bug fixes, working within Change and Release protocols.Communication & Documentation: Liaise with application users on system status and specific issues; maintain detailed documentation for applications, processes, and projects.Project Assistance: Support infrastructure projects, assess impacts on applications, conduct Disaster Recovery testing, and manage Asana workboards for management tracking.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation and enhancements in workflows.Required SkillsStrong experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps for deployment management (pipelines, builds, repositories).Excellent communication skills for end-users and development teams.Strong organizational skills for task prioritization and deadline adherence.Knowledge of server and network architecture and web development structures.Understanding of relational database concepts.Familiarity with Agile development and testing/release cycles.High attention to detail, precision, and proactive problem-solving.Recommended SkillsKnowledge of Paramount-specific tools and platforms.Proficiency in MS SQL (T-SQL), Slack, Asana, Service-Now, PowerShell, Office 365 (including Excel macros), MS PowerApps, ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx).Bilingualism (Spanish) is a plus.Familiarity with the broadcast industry, signal distribution technologies, and automation/workflow tools.Experience with object-oriented development (Java, .NET, C#).Additional DetailsThe base range for this contract position is $20 - $30/per hour, depending on experience.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
