Credence is seeking a Senior Defense Business Development professional with experience as an Account Manager and Strategic Capture Lead in support of the US Air Force. We are looking to expand our current business by supporting the US Air Force and its future needs. The successful candidate will understand how to win and close business with the Air Force programs like, AFMC, AFRL, C5ISR, NORTHCOM/NORAD, NASIC, AFSPC, Pentagon and AFIT. Candidates must have demonstrated success supporting early Air Force contract awards with winning strategies to grow business. Our teams solve agency-wide IT Challenges, including DevSecOps and AI solutions; protect our nation's critical technical systems from cyber-attacks; engineer innovative warfighting systems; train fighter pilots; and support global health and humanitarian assistance programs that save lives and alleviate suffering. Principals and Directors will plan and execute sales activities to meet aggressive new business growth goals by proactively uncovering sales opportunities with targeted prospects within Air Force at their major bases like Wright- Patterson AFB, OH, Robins AFB, GA, Joint Base San Antonio, TX, Peterson AFB, CO and Langley AFB, VA or the Pentagon DC for example. The desired candidate will be creative and professional in executing the company growth strategy.
Candidates must possess at least (5) five years of successful experience selling systems, services and solutions to the Federal Government and specifically the USAF. Must be experienced with the Federal Acquisition process and regulations, as well as be comfortable in all aspects of the full sales cycle, having excellent prospecting skills and a strong ability to established new business networks. Candidates must also have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to work independently with little or no direct supervision. Must have the ability and demonstrated experience to conduct office client calls and briefings with Air Force leadership and program management teams, as well as program-level and acquisition officials - with a priority focus on AI, DevOps, Cyber and Cloud as well as National Security-Defense and Intelligence. Must be able to identify, qualify, and support the capture of new business within the Air Force. Build and maintain a 3+ year sales pipeline of qualified business opportunities by consistently identifying and qualifying new business. Demonstrated experience supporting the development and implementation plan for the US Air Force. Must have the functional ability to quickly build personal, in-depth knowledge of Credence's capabilities, technically, business wise, objectively to leverage, design, execute creative and differentiated growth strategies for client deployment and engagements as well as influence future capability development efforts for win win scenarios. Experienced ability to bridge existing business relationships with other industry partners to facilitate teaming and thorough awareness of the competitive market. Education, Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience. US Citizenship is required with the ability of obtaining TS Clearance. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Deep understanding of Federal and Defense trends with the ability to drive positive change following industry perspective via the latest solutions in Mission Critical DOD Environments. Fifteen plus years to include service at Air Force and private sector experience in federal contracting. Proven track record of driving growth at Air Force. Customer intimacy at Air Force and understanding where they will spend money on technology. Ability to understand complex content and relate content around industry trends, client needs, and our service offerings. Must be very comfortable in a highly technical and engineering focused business. Career stability and had long stays with past employers. Demonstrates increase responsibilities in each career move. Worked in both large and small business. Comfortable with full life cycle- BD-Capture-Proposals- Delivery. Can work effectively in an unstructured environment.
