Job Summary:
Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced
CT Technologist Supervisor
to lead our dynamic team of CT technologists. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the CT department, ensure high standards of patient care, and manage staff performance, training, and scheduling. The CT Tech Supervisor will also assist with departmental quality assurance, compliance with regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and Lead CT Technologists:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the CT department, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality imaging, and exceptional patient care.
Staff Management:
Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of CT technologists, including training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and professional development.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure the department meets quality standards and compliance with all relevant accreditation and regulatory agencies, including ACR, FDA, and state regulations.
Patient Care:
Maintain a patient-first approach, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process.
Equipment and Maintenance:
Work closely with biomedical engineering and other departments to ensure all CT equipment is functioning properly and undergoes regular maintenance and calibration.
Protocols and Procedures:
Develop, implement, and enforce standardized imaging protocols to ensure consistency and quality in all CT exams.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to optimize imaging workflows and ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
Budget and Inventory Management:
Assist with the management of departmental budgets, including purchasing of supplies, inventory control, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
Continuous Improvement:
Lead and participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and monitor performance metrics to identify areas for enhancement.
