Pyxera Global is seeking an experienced, analytical, forward thinking, and empathetic professional to provide account management, thought leadership, and business development for our clients and partners. clients. The Client Manager (CM) position sits within the Client Success Unit of Pyxera Global’s Programs Department. The Client Success Unit is responsible for meeting client needs and reaching strategic outcomes in partnership with Pyxera Global’s clients. The CM will nurture client relationships to grow existing business while building the case for program expansion and innovation while also cultivating new business as needed. They oversee all administrative aspects of the portfolio, including contracting, budgeting, and financial management. The Client Manager works closely with their counterpart in the Program Delivery Unit to ensure the successful management of the entire portfolio. The Client Manager may support or lead internal continuous improvement initiatives and specific department or organizational goals.The Right Candidate

Manage and develop the client relationship through strategic advising, account planning, and program designLead regular check-ins with clients to align on strategy, program/project status, operations, logistics, continuous program improvements, and account growth opportunitiesProvide unit and department leadership with client updates, needs and/or issues, and account growth and business development opportunitiesEnsure financial compliance, including development, approval, and oversight and monitoring of budgets with global and U.S. staffRegularly collaborate with Client Manager counterpart in the Program Delivery Unit to:
Develop the client relationship and optimize the portfolio of programsSupport project teams responsible for implementing the clients’ programsEngage in strategic monitoring and evaluation alongside the M&E Manager by tracking and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and developing program reports
Work with department leadership, including the business development and partnerships team, to implement proactive client retention and account growth strategies with existing clientsParticipate in webinars, conferences, and thought leadership as requested and approved by department leadershipWhen requested, provide updates for the Executive Team and Board of Directors and periodically present program updates, insights, and strategic recommendations to the Board of DirectorsRequirements
A valid passport and ability to travel internationally and/or domestically up to 10%Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 7 years of experience in fast-paced, customer focused work environment or equivalent education/experienceExperience with U.S. Government contracts and programming across a variety of agencies (USAID, EPA, DOE, etc.)Knowledge of sustainability and circular economy fields, in particular how they relate to corporate strategy and public policyAt least 3 years of experience working with cross-cultural teams.This is a DC based position and candidates must reside in the Washington, D.C. area
(D.C., Maryland and Virginia) and commit to being in-person in our Washington, D.C. office at least twice a week.Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge of the factors driving corporate social impact initiatives and a high level of comfort communicating with corporate leaders across different business units.Experience in impact measurement (PowerBI and FormsAssembly), Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint highly desired.Experience creating social media contentProficiency in a language other than English is a plus.Application Instructions
