Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, and a love for premium chocolate? We’re looking for an intellectually curious Brand Manager, Fannie May to join our team. As the Brand Manager, Fannie May, you’ll work with a brand that has delighted chocolate lovers since its start in Chicago. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of shaping Fannie May’s future, driving its presence across Food, Drug, Mass, and Club channels. This is a unique opportunity to blend creativity and strategy as you lead the charge in developing our seasonal portfolio, executing short- and long-term brand visions, and managing the day-to-day operations of this beloved brand.If you're ready to make an impact in the world of premium confections, we’d love to meet you!This position will report into the Sr Brand Manager, Fannie May. This is a hybrid role based in our office in downtown Chicago, IL.Main Responsibilities:
Business and Brand Analysis, Monitoring and ReportingProvide in-depth category and brand analysis with fluency in syndicated data (e.g. pricing, distribution, velocity) to assist in formulating brand strategyMaintain an understanding of the competitive environment to assess impact on businessPrepare and create engaging, meaningful and persuasive presentations including business reports and customer selling storiesCo-own and actively manage brand marketing budgetProduct ManagementAnalyze category data and trends to formulate recommendations for innovation, renovation and discontinuationCollaborate with cross-functional team to move through the innovation development process - from concept to opportunity assessment through launch within our internal stage gate processWork closely with Category Management, Trade Marketing and Sales to develop compelling sell-in stories/toolkits to ensure customer acceptance of innovationBrand Equity, Communications Planning and ExecutionParticipate and contribute in brand planning and communication planning with interagency teamCollaborate with in-house Sr. Graphic Designer in creative and asset developmentEnsure consistency across all consumer and shopper touchpoints to drive cohesive and impactful messaging and trademark consistency in all communicationsCross-functional Leadership and Self-ManagementInter-departmental engagement with Shopper Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and Legal to assist in the planning and execution of initiativesComfortable with presenting in front of senior managementWho we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus3+ years experience in consumer-packaged goods brand marketingExperience working with consumer data (i.e. IRI, ACNielsen)Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing plansExperience with Budget Management, and exposure to P&L management is a plusCollaborative team player able to effectively interact and work with various functional departmentsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple projects within scheduled timelinesProblem-Solving mindset and willingness to challenge the established normsHow to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:
