Typically, this helps Gartner's clients to execute on their strategic priorities, across all sectors, including but not limited to:Cloud StrategyDigital Acceleration and TransformationEnterprise EnablementBig Data and AnalyticsApplications RationalizationSourcing and Ecosystem OptimizationContract and Cost OptimizationSecurity and Risk ManagementWhat you'll doOur Directors are responsible for high-level project delivery and oversight along with client relationship management. You will manage teams and advise clients at the highest strategic level on both big-picture and tactical matters, focusing on how technology enables a wide range of business outcomes. More specifically, you will be:Working closely with Financial institutions, such as large banks and asset/wealth management clientsLeading project teams and project/engagement planning and management for complex projectsManaging engagements, potentially simultaneously, including timeline, budget, and peopleDriving delivery of high-quality deliverables, in accordance with client expectations and predetermined timelines and budgetsDeveloping verbal and written project communications to client project teams and senior executivesMonitoring and addressing project risk mitigation activities to ensure risks are satisfactorily addressedPlanning and facilitating critical meetings with the client's project team(s) as neededMonitoring clients' expectations and partnering with senior team members to revise project scope when appropriateProviding upward feedback to more senior team members, when relevantProviding thought leadership, delivery excellence, and people leadershipLeading and managing associates as required, by onboarding new associates, coaching and developing junior associates to build industry, practice-specific knowledge. This might also include formal mentoring responsibilities along with annual performance evaluation.What you'll need:Experience working with Financial institutions, such as large banks and asset/wealth management clientsA consistent track record of leading people and building high-performing teams that leverage technology to drive the mission-critical priorities of FSI clientsAn ability to inspire and motivate professionals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds towards a common goalAn unwavering commitment to the success of your team, and willingness to provide constructive/corrective action when neededDemonstrated intellectual curiosity and the creative development of solutions and strategies to solve client problems. Must adapt Gartner frameworks and methodologies to strike at the heart of a client's most pressing business challengesAn ability to be hands-on and to manage multiple client priorities simultaneouslyMBA or other advanced degree preferredComfortable selling to, influencing, and building trust-based, value-added relationships with senior executivesCoachable and embracing of best practices and feedback as a means of continuous improvementA consistently high achiever marked by perseverance, humility, and a positive outlook in the face of challengesProven track record in achieving/exceeding revenue targetsImpactful client presentation capabilities, strong problem-solving skills, and storytelling techniques.Experience within a well-regarded management consultancy in a project delivery and sales capacityWho you are:Self-starter and a quick learner, demonstrates a no-limits mindsetStrong consultative skills and problem-solving abilities and strong desire to winPassionate about technology and helping clients in the time of industry disruption led by technology evolution.
