Reporting to the Group Account Director, you will support our team in collaborating closely with clients, internal groups (Strategy, Creative, Experiences), and external agency partners to develop programs across various campaigns ranging from MLB to NFL and Motorsports. In this role, the AD will be a leader who recognizes that success is a team sport. You bring your own abilities to the game, have a passion for learning, creating unique experiences, and the ability to work at a dynamic pace.THE WORK YOU’LL DOLead and support day-to-day team functions to help the team succeedCollaborate closely with financial service clients, internal groups at Octagon and agency partnersPrepare vital documents supporting strategic planning and ideation, competitive reviews, POVs, recommendations, etc.Coordinate projects with agency partners and internal Octagon resourcesOn select campaigns, serve as project lead and integrator overseeing cross-functional teamsLead internal, external, and client meetings, including managing and distributing meeting agenda and notesCreate timelines, budgets, program plans, and recapsDevelop a working knowledge and understanding of financial service client’s business initiatives and marketing trends, serving as a subject matter expert as you build your knowledge baseAdditional projects as assignedWHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR7+ years of work with an agency, brand, or property on the development of integrated brand campaignsPassion and expertise in sports, cause, entertainment and are eager to stay up to date with developments in each industryPrioritize multiple programs simultaneously with strong attention to detailAbility to forecast and mitigate issues/challenges effectivelyTeam builder and collaboratorHistory of building positive relationships, both internally and externally – finding opportunities to make valuable contributions with every interactionAbility to lead client meetings and partner conversations, keeping all parties on task, on time and on budgetStrong leadership presence, with the ability to communicate concisely, persuasively, and effectively through both written and verbal mediumsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Publisher)Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel level: Moderate (20-45%)The base range for this position is $70,000 – 90,000.
