Position DescriptionYour Opportunity:

TechSource is hiring a full-time correspondence officer you will use your critical thinking and analytical skills to facilitate the management of unclassified, controlled, and classified (workflow management, approvals, responses, storage, tracking, transport, accountability, etc.) in the Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of the Executive Secretariat of the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).

You will work initially full-time in the office. After training and client approval, a hybrid work schedule, include 3 days/week onsite, may be considered. The onsite work is located at the DOE Headquarters building (Forrestal), located in downtown Washington, DC.

What You Will Do:

Address highly complex issues escalated to the team with ability to interact with leaders during occasional interactions inside and outside the organization. May serve as a support team lead, assigning activities to other support staff and checking completion.Triage and manage sensitive situations resulting from a wide range of requests, questions, and problems directed to the team, with an ability to prioritize levels of urgency and escalate them accordingly.Focus on the timeliness, quality, and accuracy of work as well as effective collaboration with federal staff and leadership.Analyze and process all incoming mail, packages, and documents that require leadership signatures.Track and monitor correspondence and assign due dates.Track, handle, process, and package classified, controlled, and unclassified documents.Support or lead weekly staff meetings.What You Will Need:

Active DOE Q clearance or DoD Top Secret clearance.10 or more years of correspondence experience or 6 or more years of experience with a bachelor's degree.Ability to work in a team environment and a strong desire to learn.Strong organizational and written communication skills.MS Office Suite skills.Experience in a military or government office preferred.
