We work on a core technology for Apple. In this role, you will have the chance to make a major impact on the way that Apple develops and ships iOS-based products. Work with multi-functional teams to support product requirements for the iPhone/iPad/AppleWatch/AppleTV/Mac bring-up, verification, and debug of new hardware platforms. Develop firmware and drivers. Drive product features and functional/industry specifications. Involvement in specification for hardware platforms.Minimum Qualifications
A genuine passion for embedded developmentHighly proficient in C/C++Knowledge of hardware platforms & processor architecturesProven creative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skillsPreferred Qualifications
Highly professional, with the ability to deliver proven work on tight schedulesExperience with JTAG and other debuggersPrevious experience writing embedded device driversPrevious experience with platform bring-up or porting of operating systemsPrevious exposure to hardware and processor simulationBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related fieldAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
