The Senior Event Content Marketing Manager sits within the Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) team that is part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) marketing organization. Our team creates best-in-class experiences that educate and inspire public sector organizations to meet their mission with AWS.
We are seeking an insight-driven, curious, and experienced B2B marketer to own the end-to-end creation and delivery of programming for WWPS hosted events. In this highly cross-functional role, you’ll work with stakeholders across the business to deeply understand our solutions and how they work together to solve customer challenges. You’ll apply that knowledge to propose, develop, and deliver thought leadership across AWS event stages. Candidates must possess exceptional verbal and written communications skills and be comfortable managing projects with multiple teams across the globe in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in gaining executive alignment, communicating internally with stakeholders and externally (to customers), and collaborating cross-team is a must.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the event content strategist driving the creation and delivery of compelling content in alignment with business goals, brand and product messages, and other priorities.
Clearly communicate strategies to internal stakeholders, including WWPS leadership, to gain alignment on content strategy.
Identify content needs and manage content development events end-to-end, from event development to post-event reporting.
Work directly with content owners to identify deliverables and deadlines, communicate expectations, and ensure results.
Understand the brand and product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging.
About the team: AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights.
Experience with Salesforce and Tableau.
5+ years of developing event content for acquisition/demand generation marketing.
Thrives in an ambiguous environment; can independently remove blockers and make decisions autonomously.
Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, creating a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience developing event content inclusive of breakout sessions, keynotes, videos and other event-related content.
