Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25 . This position is located at the 7th Signal Command (T), 106th Signal Brigade located at Fort Johnson, LA.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience which includes editing personnel records within an approved system of record for security clearances, such as Defense Information Security System (DISS); utilizing two or more of the following disciplines - Communications Security (COMSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC), Information Security (INFOSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC); AND performing security inquiries or investigations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-09).
OR
A Ph.D or equivalent Degree that is closely related to the position. Closely Related constitutes a degree which has educated the student in pertinent, specific position-related subject matter allowing the student to develop knowledge and abilities directly applicable to the position being filled such as International Relations, Foreign Area Studies, Political Science, Geography, Foreign Affairs, International Law, History, Economics, Demography, Engineering, Law, Sociology, Psychology, Military Science, Cartography, Social or Cultural Anthropology, and/or Physical or Chemical Science. Specialized experience is progressively responsible intelligence-related security work directly related to the position being filled. Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector or in another government agency as long as it was at a level at least equivalent to the next lower band in the series.#J-18808-Ljbffr
