TICKET SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
The Somerset Patriots (New York Yankees Double-A Affiliate) are seeking a Ticket Sales Account Executive to generate revenue through selling group and season ticket packages. The Somerset Patriots were a member of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball from 1998-2019. Starting in 2021, the Patriots joined the Double-A Eastern League and became the New York Yankees Double-A Affiliate.
Responsibilities Include:
On going solicitation of businesses and group organizations for the purpose of creating new business including group events, season ticket packages and sponsorship partnerships.Assist in the creation and implementation of theme nights and special eventsProvide inside support for all aspects of the Ticketing Department including Group Sales, Season Ticket Sales and Box Office operations.Assist VP of Ticket Operations with various projects and duties as assignedWork and perform assigned event night duties at all Patriots home games and other ballpark events as assignedQualifications:
Bachelor's degreeMinimum of 1 year of sales experience and/or related internship in the sports industryAbility to solicit new business on an on going basis through cold calling and in person salesAbility to create professional sales proposalsAbility to execute presentations on a sales callExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong leadership, organizational and computer skillsA flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays and off hoursKnowledge of and experience with youth leagues, schools, churches, civic organizations and recreation departments a plusExperience using Salesforce CRM and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus
Salary is commensurate with experience and includes a base salary plus commissions. 401 K Plan and Health Benefits are also available.
