The Role
Drives company truck to deliver produce to customers on an assigned route.Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited ToAssist warehouse in storing incoming produce, returning produce to coolers, fuels trucks and trailer refrigeration unit, occasionally product orders, hook and unhook truck from trailer, inspect equipment, load, unload trailer, and breakdown pallets of produce. Fill out and complete required paperwork in a timely manner. Our delivery drivers are responsible for the local delivery of produce to predetermined customers on a specific route in a safe and timely manner. Load and unload truck with pallet jack or hand truck, pick up returns, interact with all customers in a professional manner, help resolve or communicate customer issues with the management team, collect signatures and payment at time of delivery.Timely and accurate completion of paperworkGood customer service skillsPractice safe driving techniquesDeliver produce by deadlineKeep vehicles up to company standardsOccasional Warehouse dutiesResponsible for Quality and Food Safety.Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED, speak and read the English language, bi-lingual preferred; At least one (1) year experience in driving route deliveries.
Must have a valid Alaskan Driver's License.Provide at least a five (5) year Driving Record from an Alaskan DMVValid Medical CardPass pre-employment drug test, background, and reference checkAble to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs repeatedlyAbility to work in a refrigerated environmentWork an electric/manual pallet jack/dolly safelyHear from Charlie's employeesSupplemental InformationThis employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
